Q. Does your menu change?
A. Yes. We provide you with a NEW menu to choose from each week via text. Once you subscribe you will receive the weekly menu. SEE A SAMPLE WEEKLY MENU HERE
Q. Do you offer vegan options?
A. Yes any of our menu items can be made vegan. We substitute legumes, tempeh, tofu or vegetable burgers in place of animal protein.
Q. How does the meal delivery service work?
A. We deliver on Mondays between 8am-12pm PST. Your meals are cooked the day prior to drop off, so we can always guarantee fresh food.
Q. Can your meals be frozen?
A. Absolutely! We suggest freezing the meals in sealed containers to guarantee freshness.
Q. How long will your meals stay fresh?
A. Our meals stay fresh for 4 days once delivered.
Q. How does your meal subscription work?
A. Our service is a week-to-week subscription that can be paused 72-hours prior to your scheduled drop off day. You just reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with any changes you would like to make to your account.
Q. Can I choose my meals?
Yes, you select how many meals you would like to receive. We provide you a menu to choose from each week via email or text depending on your preference.
Q. How many calories are in each meal?
Meals fluctuate between 400-600 calories with the emphasis of always having our meals built on the foundation of protein and fiber to stabilize blood sugar. We always list the calories/macros next to the meal item on the menu that you receive each week. This way you choose the meals based upon your individual needs.
Q. Are your meals vacuum sealed or frozen prior to delivery?
Fresh local organic food is our standard. We do not believe in vacuum sealing or freezing meals. In our opinion that is not fresh food. Our standard is simple. We prepare all of your meals less then 12-hours prior to your delivery. This way we can guarantee all of our clients are getting the highest quality fresh local organic meals.
Q. Are you allergen friendly?
Yes we are! All of our meals are free of nuts, dairy, and gluten.
Q. Do you use sugar in your sauces/food?
We use raw local San Diego honey, organic maple syrup, or coconut sugar to sweeten some of our sauces. This equates out to about 2g of sugar per 2 tbsps. We do not add any sugar to our meals outside of the sauces.
Q. Do you make keto or low carb meals?
No we do not. Our meals are too high in protein to be considered suitable for the keto diet. We offer lower carbohydrate options. However, ultimately we strive for a balance of healthy fats, carbs, and protein in each meal.
